I could not have been more pleased with my lessons. Maite went above and beyond to make my classes a success. She was always prepared with lesson plans and homework. Maite even went to the effort of trying different learning techniques: conversations, listening to different Spanish dialects, playing games and more. I took private lessons for 90 minutes Monday through Friday for 4 weeks. We have really enjoyed learning with Maite and the Spanish Language Institute. She has been very flexible with our schedule, and offers classes through zoom which has allowed us to do long distance learning. She is always prepared and has even personalized classes for us based on specific needs or events coming up. We have had classes about doctor visits before an appointment, and many other specific classes that have helped so much navigating life in a different language and culture.

I took Spanish lessons with Maite for two weeks while doing an internship in La Paz.
